Happy New Years
January 10, 2010Happy New Years (ok, I know, what could sound more lame than the past holiday posts?!) Oh and PS this wont sound very professional, but please, ‘jdk’ I get the idea that your bored!
Merry Christmas!
December 20, 2009Merry Christmas from Samcom! Hopefully fixing website glitch by 2010, figured out I just need expensive web building software (don’t yet have compatible software to make it happen). Progress on Richard, working out the power supply and wiring needed to span the distance from the power input port to the appropriate system; AC power lines and video output lines, as well as audio lines will be isolated from the general DC current. Don’t mean to bore you with the complicated stuff, but just an idea of the thought process going on in my head. I was up ’til midnight last night thinking of all this (in addition to playing PS2 games).
URL still in progress…
December 3, 2009I guess the website system doesnt like me… the domain has been registered as ‘samcomcomputers.com’ (it came up on my credit card bill), but it is yet to display my stuff… we will see
URL Change
September 12, 2009I will hopefully be changing my URL sometime before December 31st. I have not figured out the web address yet, because I don’t know what valid domain names are open. I love WordPress, it is free, but sometimes I wish I had a real “.com” address.
Design completed, work under way
August 27, 20091HDPN2 almost finished, neck&chest area in progress, final wiring started. Richard, I decided will not have skin. It would be too difficult to buy custom silicone. Well, happy whatever holidays there are in August!
Happy 4th!
July 4, 2009Hope you have a safe and fun 4th of July! –more progress on Richard(tm). Have most of the materials ready, but not quite done yet ( lack of funding ).
More Progress
June 6, 2009I am sorry I couldn’t post new info, but we are making lots of progress on the control panel and ACS system. Taking a bit of a break today, though I did have the energy to go and post more! Hopefully Richard™ will be completed sometime next year.
Progress
February 21, 2009There has been progress on the wooden support structure for 1HDPN2, the term used for the head. I have also begun the systems for the hands, arms, and legs.
Merry Christmas
December 25, 2008Merry Christmas from Samcom®! I will update my weblogs after the holidays with more important information.
